5th West Bridgford Brownies

The 5th West Bridgford Brownies meet every Thursday evening (except during school holidays) from 6.15pm until 7.45pm.

Brownies is the second stage of the Girl Guiding movement, following on from Rainbows, and is for girls aged between seven and ten. Although many girls come to Brownies following Rainbows, having been a Rainbow is not necessary and we welcome anyone who is of Brownie age.

At Brownies we learn lots of new things and take part in fun new activities. Some of the things you can expect to be doing are arts and crafts, playing games, working towards gaining badges, theme evenings, imaginary trips abroad, treats outside the normal meetings, and making lots of new friends while having lots of fun!

Recent events include an African music night, pizza and smoothie making and the girls completing their cycling badge.

Tawny, Fluffy, Speckle and Lucky Owl (Elizabeth Backhouse, Becky Nicholls, Helen Scaman and Katrina Bisby) would love to meet you and welcome you to the 5th West Bridgford Brownies to share in the fun!

Please Note: We do not currently have any places available, but would be very happy to add your daughter's name to our waiting list if she was born in May 2004 or later.
